Mike Heidemann
I’m an avid fisherman and fish an average of over 100 times per year. There are a few months a year that I struggle with and I wanted some knowledge to increase my catches during these tough months. I booked my first trip with Captain Paul for that reason. Being a full time guide forover 20 years at that time, I knew he would have the knowledge I needed. We met at the ramp and right off I could tell this was going to be a day to remember. He was very professional, clean cut and his boat was in immaculate condition along with all of his gear. I learned a bunch about fishing that day, but I also got much more out of it than just a good day on the water. I developed a friendship. I have fished with Captain Paul many times since then and he continues to teach me something everytime we go out. Our relationship is one that I’ve grown to cherish. I can also tell you that through my learnings from Captain Paul I caught the trout of a lifetime that now rests above my fireplace. I look forward to every trip we take.
