Arctic Fishing-101 Galveston Bay
Wow, fishermen and ladies that enjoy this resource. We took a direct hit from our Creator, Lord Jesus. Enough is enough He says……………………………….
My hands and body are now free from numbness and other misfortunes. Hope all are in recovery or you’re routine. This writer decided earlier this week to seek out our bay system.
What I found was both positive and remarkable. Our resource withstood the bitter wind, rain and frozen elements. Found a number of spec’s and mullet, along with other smaller fish that did not survive. However, I can report that myself and several of my dearest friends ventured across the waters of Galveston. We caught several trout in the 18 to 20 inch over deep water shell using soft plastic tails from Little John’s by Mirrolure and paddle tail Assassins…………………..
I believe there is enough negative fish kill. Please understand, my comments are design to left the spirits of anglers in and around Galveston Complex.
Current water temperature is 51 degree. Color is trout green to about 12 to 18 inches and winds are within fishing tolerance.
Consider joining myself and other anglers at the upcoming Houston Fishing Show, slated for April 14th to 18th at GRB……….Should be a great time to share memories and create new ones. I’m doing a seminar that Saturday in the mid afternoon.
May our Lord continue to bless each of you and your family. Continue to thank veterans.
